Key Stage 4 and 5

In years 10 and 11, learners will be involved in various assessments and examinations for qualifications, such as GCSEs, BTEC level 1/2 awards, applied GCSEs, and other vocational awards.

In years 12 and 13, students are assessed and examined for qualifications such as GCE AS/A2 levels, BTECs and level 3 vocational awards.

All assessment and examinations are run under the JCQ Candidate Rules. Students should familiarise themselves with these rules. 

Candidates will see and hear warnings about items that should not be brought into the examination rooms.

Students learn about the exam rules and requirements in assemblies, PSE lessons and with their form tutors. 

It is important students are aware of the guidance on the use of AI and social media.
